PLUG-FEST Ethercat Robox – Mitsubishi

Successfully tested the communication between the Robox RP-2 control and the Mitsubishi MRJ5 drive, with motion tests up to 3000 rpm. In particular, Robox and Mitsubishi technicians cooperated and successfully completed the following points:

  • xml file reading and integration into the RDE fieldbus editor
  • PDOs writing with customizable parameters
  • configuration of the number of bits and reading of the transducer
  • Power-set management and power enabling
  • test and movement in CSP and CSV modes
  • fine tuning (Mitsubishi “super-trace”) for movements with low position error, with Epos
