The main features are:
- PIC17C42 microcontroller
- 220V AC/110V AC power supply
- TRG injects a 10 KHz alternating current, 50mA peak, into the guide wire, capable of driving up to 1000m of track.
- It receives from the personal computer managing the system, in asynchronous RS422 or RS232 (9600 baud), the communications to be sent to the vehicle.
- RWG modula Manchester the 10 KHz driving carrier to sent communications to the vehicle.
- RWG receives signals from the vehicle, on a 17 KHz carrier (Manchester modulated), to the centre.
- It decodes Manchester signals from the vehicle and sends them asynchronously RS422 to the centre (9600 baud).
